Plot: Gambler Van Morgan runs a little card game in town but one night things get out of hand. A stranger amateurishly tries to cheat and, though Morgan tries to stop it, his fellow players string him up. How much do I have to raise in Poker?
Okay so say I’m playin a game of No limit poker (holdem, seven card stud, doesn’t matter) and there are two other people besides me, a total of three people. If the first person bets 5, the next person raises it to 10, (a minimum of the previous bet) and I wanted to raise, would i be able to raise it to atleast 15 (the previous person raised it 5) or would i have to raise it to 20 (the previous person raised it up to 10)? This question confused me. I don’t know if the persons previous bet is 5 or 10. And does this apply if you are raising it when you have say the minimum blind? Thanks.
And also how would I say it would I say raise 15 or raise 5?? Im assuming raise 15 but just checking.

To keep in simple in no limit you must raise equal to or greater then the amount raised by the previous raiser. So if it was raise to $5 re-raised to $10 you need to raise at least $5 making it a total of $15. Hope this answers your question.
