How is it that I ALWAYS manage to meet a man on the train?
I take the train to and from college…and it’s about 18 hours…I love the scenery, and the sleep lol. But I always meet people…the majority of them men…most in there 20’s…sometimes even older way older(I’m 20 btw). I was just wondering, am I too nice? I never start conversations, and I don’t wear anything nice, cause 18hrs= comfort over beauty…but I manage to get #’s, and new friends lol. Sometimes all I do is listen…it’s kinda weird. But some are creepy, some go to my college, and some are just random. Should I keep allowing this to happen, or try to prevent it somehow(even though I try by listening to music, sleeping, and avoiding talking)…or is this a good thing? Some people are jackasses like this one guy I met online a while back…but this seems no different in the sense that this may be the only time I ever see these people again…they are from some far away place…is it smarter not to do anything? Or to keep meeting new people? I made a guy friend my age, who goes to my college, and he’s going to tutor me in chem…he didn’t let me sleep…and kept talking to me for like 5-6hours straight lol…I want to see where it goes(friends wise), but is it a good idea? Do you make friends with strangers on planes, trains, and automobiles?

lol! I think it’s nice! You could meet the love of your life! I met my ex boyfriend on the bus!

Dirty Dancing

Dirty Dancing
Dirty Dancing (1987)

IMDB rating: 6.00

Plot: Set in the 1960s, Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman, a sweet daddy’s girl, goes to a very respectable summer camp in the Catskills. Baby has grown up in privileged surrounds with her doctor father and all expect her to go on to college, join the Peace Corps and save the world before marrying a doctor, just like her father. Unexpectedly, Baby becomes infatuated with the camp’s dance instructor, Johnny, a man whose background is vastly different to her own. Attempting to impress him, Baby borrows money from her father to pay for an illegal abortion for Johnny’s dance partner. She then fills in as Johnny’s dance partner and it is during the rigorous training that they fall in love. It all comes apart when Johnny’s friend falls seriously ill after her abortion and Baby is forced to seek her father’s medical assistance. Her father then learns what Baby has been up to, who with and worse – that he funded the illegal abortion. He bans his daughter from any further association with “those people”. In the first deliberately willful action of her life, Baby later sneaks out to see Johnny – ostensibly to apologize for her father’s rudeness – and ends up consummating her relationship with Johnny. A jealous fellow vacationer sees Baby sneaking out of Johnny’s bungalow the next morning and in an act of retribution, tells management that he is responsible for a theft that last evening, knowing he would not furnish his real whereabouts. Attempting to defend her lover, Baby confesses that they were together that night – all night. This revelation causes a huge rift in the family and Baby makes an impassioned speech to her angry and bereft father. At the closing night performances, and although he has been fired and banned from attending – Johnny returns and takes the stage to tell everyone about the woman who stole his heart and changed his life before they have one, final dance together.

how can i clean these dance shoes?
so i have these capezio dance shoes that my dance team is using for competition.& i want to clean them cause theyre kind of reaching the dirty side. -.-
but i have a feeling that they’ll break or something.
any ways i can clean them without causing any damages?
thanks. (:

Can I recommend wet wipes? Sounds silly but it works.

I think my Capezio shoes have a care label in – do yours not have one?

You never said what they were made of…

If they’re leather you can use an old toothbrush and a dot of dish soap or white toothpaste to clean them. Mr Clean magic eraser works wonders on lighter coloured leather. You can also just use a wet wipe.

If they’re canvas you can put them in the washer machine on the most delicate cycle (put them in a lingerie bag first so they’re not bouncing around). Air dry.
You can also use a damp cloth, use soap, use a dry toothbrush with baking soda and rub the stains, you can match the colour of the canvas to a coverup and hide the marks with makeup…

Never get pointe shoes wet, use coverup or calamine lotion to hide stains.

You didn’t specify the shoe so I can’t help much more than this. Good luck with your competitions.
