How do I tell if my rabbit's happy?
So I have a 7 month old dutch rabbit and I don’t know if she’s happy or not. I feed her everyday and pet her. I sometimes hold her but she gets nervous and squirms when I attempt to pick her up. I used to hold her everyday but now I have to keep her couped up in a cage all day. I’m thinking about buying some chicken wire so she has a wide open space in the basement to run around in.

I’ve heard rabbits need to run around alot and now that I moved, I haven’t bunny-proofed the basement yet. I’m thinking that letting her get out of the cage once in a while will make her happier and back to her old self again. Any thoughts?

Holding a rabbit like on a blanket close to your chest-with all 4 paws against you will help and YES, you need to let her out of the cage and supervise her and allow her to play outside of the cage-at least a couple hours a day. No wonder she is nervous with you, You don’t spend time with her anymore!!!!!!!! She doesn’t need a whole room or house, she just needs 1 on 1 time with you and Then a room like the kitchen or bath room with no cords for her to chew on. Anything is better than nothing.

I need some advice, please take out a few minutes and answer this, thank you.?
Alright, so here is my story. Almost everyday now I talk to this girl from Germany online. We have been doing this for a while. At first it was just normal, but now we both really like each other. I am trying to get into the foreign exchange program for my senior year (I’m a junior now). I planned to get in the foreign exchange program before I even met her online. This is actually quite ironic since she just graduated from the high school I’m going to go to when I enter the foreign exchange program, and she lives in the same city I’m going to.

I’m 17 and she is 19. She has on numerous occasions called me cute, sweet, attractive, nice, etc. I have also complimented her several times. We both have so much in common too. We love to talk to each other and I am the one who convinced her to break up with her boyfriend who kept hurting her and didn’t even care about her. Please note that I am pretty sure I’m not the rebound guy. I didn’t want to do anything because I thought that online dating was a bad idea, but then my best friend started doing it.

In fact, my best friend has shown me that people can indeed fall in love if they never met in person. Also, don’t say something like "she is probably a 40 year old man", because she isn’t (I have a friend in real life who is in the foreign exchange program and she met her when she was in Germany). She is a beautiful, intelligent young woman, and a wonderful person. Of course, when I meet her in real life once I go through the foreign exchange program, I will meet her in a public place, just to be safe. I am technically an adult under Missouri law, so it’s not illegal. We won’t be having any sex or anything (atleast not until we both decide that we are old enough). If I wait until I get to Germany my senior year, it might be too late, since she might think I have lost interest in her and find someone else. I’m horribly scared she will reject me, but I hope she won’t. I am truly in love with her and want to be with this girl.

So I plan on asking her out, but I don’t know how to go about doing so. I can’t do it in person, since there is kind of an ocean and lots of land in the way, so should I just send her a message on Facebook? Or should I send her a Facebook Chat IM? What should I say to her when I ask her? I am fully committed to this girl and know the risks and disadvantages of online dating (primarily the fact that you can’t physically be with the person most of the time). I will be going to Germany though in less than a year (probably around like August 2010, but possibly on January 3, 2011), and I will stay there for an entire semester. Please don’t say anything like "you only have two years to get with her because of 2012", because 2012 is just a hoax and I don’t believe in stupid mass hysteria hoaxes. So what should I do and how should I go about it?

Okay, firstly asking her out over msn or facebook is out of the question. No way.
But maybe over the phone, even then its pretty stupid.
If you were to do one of the above it would appear a little desperate just because of society’s beliefs on internet dating.
But on the flip side, if you are certain you are going to Germany as an exchange student or whatever you could ask her out before you arrive like a few weeks before you get there.
Or my favourite, wait til you get there and ask her out.

Does the fact that no time travelers (from the future) are here now prove that it will never be possible?
I would imagine if any time-travelers were here they would make themselves known BUT maybe time trevelers are very discreet or maybe they are paranoid about having their machine stolen and them getting stranded here in 2010 because it probably totally sucks ass now compared to the future. So maybe they are all over the place but just being hush-hush. But whenever time-travel is possible, I would bet that either time-travel roadside assistance or Time-Travel-Automobile Insurance would be a cash cow because like i said time travelers are probably paranoid as hell about getting stuck here with our dumb asses and they would probably insist on having a backup plan – you know like insurance that says "If I am not back here by noon on dec 3 1998 please come to the waffle house on hwy 96 on dec 2 1998 because I am stranded in 1998 and that cher song "Do you believe in life after love" is f-ing everywhere I am going to blow my brains out so come and get me because my great-great-great grandad’s cousin borrowed my car and went back to murder his ex wife while she was still in grade school and he never brought it back" Policy for Time Travelers. I think I could get a couple hundred bucks per policy – AND if their check bounces – I send thier time machine to the parking lot of a Cher concert in 1998 over and over again until the cough it up. I’m just thinking that would be a good business model to have on-hand when people start using the machines on a wholesale basis. Also I would think Time-Travel On Star would be handy too just to make sure people don’t bump into themselves thirty years ago and rip the space-time continuum and mashind all dimensions into a bubbly frothing bowl of guts and anger; and more specifically their soul would invert and become a bluish-white quasar pulsating in the sky 300′ above the ground.

I think that time travel is possible, however, science has established multiple theories on the effects of traveling through time. One explanation is the many worlds theory, which states that there are an infinite number of universes, possibly each playing out what could happen in reality. For instance, in this universe you roll snake eyes in Vegas and lose, in another you roll a seven and win. It may be that when you time travel you travel to another universe similiar to ours, but with different results. Another possibility is that time "fixes" itself, so that reality is constant and not ripped apart by time travelers. Perhaps every time someone travels back, they are stuck on a "track" that pushes them to do things that keep history the same ( maybe a traveler accidentally appeared at Lincolns’ assassination, and tripped Booth so that he falls of the balcony, consistent with history.

LOL, you have pretty much answered your own question. Since time travellers from the future are as great an unknown as aliens visiting the earth, there can only be conjecture as to whether they exist or not. In fact it is far more likely that aliens are visiting the earth right now, than human time travellers from the future.

The odds that human beings from the future are visiting us (even if they are hiding themselves) is quite low for a number of reasons:
- the ability for a person to travel backward in time is as of yet an unknown and it will likely take a great deal of time before it could (if possible) be done safely.
- even if humans could travel backward in time, the risk of disrupting their own time line would be too great and it would most likely be banned.
- given the complexity and risks of travelling backward in time, it is likely that it would be many thousands of years before such an activity would be allowed. If so, by then human beings would either have evolved naturally or through genetic manipulation to the point that we would no longer call them human beings. In fact to us they would be ‘aliens’.
- the odds that our species will survive long enough to invent time travel are low. We are too violent and stupid to prevent our own destruction. As Carl Sagan once said "The possibility of survival in a century — less than one percent, not very good odds.". And he said that almost 30 years ago now (we have less than 70 years left).

There are various suggestions for making a real time machine. E.g. the "Tipler time machine".

One property of these machines is that: you make the machine at some time, and this allows you to travel back in time to that point, but no further back.

In other words, the furthest back you can go in a time machine is back to the time that the machine was made. So you don’t expect time travellers from the future during times prior to the development of time travel technology.

Look. I’m a costume designer, and this year I have some really ambitious projects. One of them involves making a riddler costume from batman forever. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a really specific color, full spandex/lycra body-suit.
It’s really hard for me to buy fabric offline. I need to be able to touch the fabric to know if it’s something I can work with or not. If I have no other option, I could risk it, but I’d rather not.

SO! does anyone know of a fabric store in the seattle/bothell/western-washington region that sells a wide variety of spandex/lycra/dance-wear fabrics?
I’ve been to Joann’s and Hancock’s, neither sells a wide variety of the fabric, particularly, they don’t sell anything near the color that I need.

I know that I could buy a suit online, but that’s not the point. It has to be handmade.

If you get down to the Portland, OR area, try Rose City Textiles, Fabric Depot, and Mill End Fabrics

Most of the online retailers of specialty fabrics like Spandex House or FabricDepotCo.com offer swatches, If you can figure out the pantone number of the color you’re looking for (or find a decent match in one of the commonly available threads like Coats or Gutermann or Sulky) you’ll have an easier time with communicating with fabric stores.

Another option is Pacific Fabrics. There is one in Everett at the corner of highway 99 and Evergreen. I don’t know that they’ll have what you are looking for, but I think they have a better selection than Hancock’s.

Nancy’s Sewing Basket, on Queen Ann Ave. North in Seattle is one more place to ask at. I do not think they’ll have the lycra type fabrics you are looking for but they may be able to point you in the right direction

Have you tried Fabricland? There was one in Kent, on East Hill when I lived there. (Moved away in May 1998 — don’t know if it is still there.)

Plot: Mitch, Frank and Beanie are disillusioned with their personal lives begining when Mitch’s nymphomanic girlfriend, Heidi, cheats on him, then former party animal Frank gets married, but unwilling to get go of his wild life, and Beanie is a family man seeking to reclaim his wild and crazy youth. What's the difference between a skateboard and an old school skateboard?
I know that an old school is wider but why would someone rather have and oldschool than just a regular skateboard?

old school boards are shaped differently . new boards are made for more things, like ollies, nose slides, tail slides. if u want to do tricks i recommend a new board, if u cruise around, and go down hills and stuff, i would think u would want an old school board
