"Ronin" (1998) Robert DeNiro and Jean Reno in a tale of modern-day mercenaries, hired for specific skills, who are tasked with getting an attache case. Lots of thrills and action.
"Leon: The Professional" (1994) Jean Reno and 11-year-old Natalie Portman as a hitman takes a street urchin under his wing. Gary Oldman is scary as the drug-addled cop.
"The Godfather" Pts I & II (1972/1974) . Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, et al star in the best gangster movies ever made.
Goodfellas (1990) The next-best gangster movie. Has the best opening line of narration ever: All my life, I wanted to be a gangster.

King Arthur, Shawshank Redemption, Arlington Road, Ace Ventura movies, Escape from Alcatraz, We are Marshall, Star Trek series, Rocky’s, Godfathers, The End of the Spear, Caddyshack, Rudy (a must see – 4-stars!!!!), Gone in Sixty Seconds, Luther, Superman series, Batman (part 1), Signs, The Village, Roots miniseries, The Skulls (part one). Anyways, I could go on forever.
Of this list i strongly reccommend Arlington Road, King Arthur, Star Trek, The End of the Spear, and Rudy. But all of them are some of my favorites.
