Breakfast: Yopait super-fruit selections yogurt
Lunch: 1 slice of weight watchers whole-wheat bread with mixed berry jam, 4-5 apple slices, and 2 pieces of orange
Snack: Nature valley fiber source granola bar ( apple crumble) and 8 whole grain crackers
Dinner: Home-made Turkey pot pie, some left over turkey with mushroom " gravy" ( it is like a thick mushroom sauce) and some stir fry veggies and half a cup of 1% milk
Dessert: about 2 cups worth of compliments strawberry frozen yogurt, and I added some hershy chocolate chips to it ( about 1-2 tablespoon, I think)

I am 13 years old and 4 ft 11 and weigh 79.5 pounds. Am I going to get fat? Also I have been eating badly for the past 3 days. Am I still going to get fat? Please help me!

I do not know if you will get fat, but I do know that you will not be a healthy woman.. here is a better plan.

eat as much green/red/yellow veggies and fruit as you can. eat lean protein, such as chicken , beef, pork, lamb, turkey, fish twice a day, about 6 ounces . drink skim or 2% milk or yogurt . eat only whole GRAIN starch, limited quantities, also pasta and potato limited to three times per week. do not overdo butter or gravy or sauce.

do not eat white flour goods or concentrated sweets. do not drink sodas, except a special treat once in awhile. do not eat pizza, hamburgers etc except very occasionally.

eat cooked oatmeal, about 1/2 to 3/4 cup in am, add raisins or cranberries if you like. drink 6 ounces of milk. eat some fruit slices.

snack, yogurt serving, celery sticks with a little cheese.

lunch lettuce and tomato sandwich, celery sticks, boiled egg, or some canned tuna or salmon, water

snack, some fruit slices, water

supper, green veggies cooked, meat serving, sweet potato serving

this is just an example. as a young girl, you do need calcium and protein, and some fat, like olive oil on salad.

Also, you are not near to fat, in fact you are UNDER weight! You need to talk to an adult you trust, and get on a healthy eating plan. This is not enough!

Also, you are not eating badly. You’re also not eating very healthy! If you are worried about your weight (which you shouldn’t be, but I understand what it’s like when you stress about it and don’t believe all the people who tell you that you’re fine)…don’t feel like you have to eat small amounts to stay small. Have frequent snacks (I eat 4 snacks a day, plus brekkie, lunch and dinner) to keep your metabolism up, eat lots of vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cauli etc have very small numbers of calories) to keep full, and don’t skimp on grains and carbs because your body NEEDS them to function!
